Yes. The customer doesn't pay final payment until a walk through is done. In addition, we are the only painting company you will find, that actually abides by state law and spells out a cancellation policy on the buttom of our contract.

Are you licensed and insured?

Licensing is not a state requirement in Illinois yet. It will be, and rest assured that we will be. More than 90% of contractors ARE NOT fully insured (even when they say they are). We not only carry liablility insurance (that protects you in case of unintentional damage to your property or injury to a loved one, but we also carry workers compensation insurance, in case one of our workers is hurt.

Q.	What are your rates?
We usually bid the work, so the rate, depends on how long it takes us to finish the job? If we finish slower than we planned, then our rate automatically went down. If we finish quicker, then our rate obviously went up. If a homeowner is more comfortable with an hourly rate, then we would quote painting at $50.00 per manhour plus materials. Carpentry will be @ $65.00 per manhour plus materials.

Q.	How much notice do you need to begin a project?
We can get moving quickly. But, the more notice we have, the better. Ideally, we would like to get 3 weeks notice. We know that's not always possible.

There is no "typical" project. What does the project involve? Every paint job is different. No two are the same.

I'm a painting instructor with 20 years experience. The simple fact that we carry workers compensation insurance makes us different. That's because it's state law in Illinois and 90% of our competitors don't carry it, even though they say they do.
